Hailed as “the future star of country music” by Citytv and praised as a “prodigy whose star is definitely on the rise” by the Calgary Herald, the guitar-wielding, CCMA Award-winning Hailey Benedict got her start at age 14 when Keith Urban pulled her on stage for an impromptu performance in front of a sold-out arena, drawing international attention and instantly catapulting her into the spotlight.
Hailey is a 5x CCMA Award nominee – including her first win in 2022 and a Female Artist of the Year nomination in 2025 – to go along with winning SiriusXM’s Top of the Country competition and 10 Country Music Alberta Award wins.
Known for her magnetic and powerful live shows, Hailey fulfilled a lifelong dream last year by performing on the Big Valley Jamboree main stage. She has also performed at some of the biggest festivals in North America, including CMA Fest, Lasso Festival, Boots and Hearts, the Calgary Stampede and Cavendish; plus this year, she graced Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe and Ryman Auditorium stages.
Her label debut single, “Things My Mama Says,” spent six weeks in the Top 10 at Canadian Country Radio and held the #1 spot for most-played Canadian country song for five straight weeks. “Carl Dean,” released this summer, continues to showcase her artistry and unique voice in country music.
